When I was pregnant with Z, my manager at that time was two months ahead of me, and we ended up having overlapping maternity leave. That must have been fun for the team! I usually make baby gifts before the babies are born, but since I was in the same boat at the time, I ended up making this a bit later. I had some baby yarn that I wasn’t sure what to do with, and it seemed like the perfect yarn for the project. Little did I know that they had decorated their nursery in Minnesota Vikings colors, so this was the perfect color scheme!
This was a super simple project of double crochet in a square pattern so it would be evenly distributed on all sides, with a crocheted edging in a different color. I had less of the yellow yarn because I previously used it for a different project, so it came out great.
