Have you ever lost or threw away the box to the puzzle but want to reuse it? We had the same issue – I used to tape the back of the puzzles so we could hang them up on the wall, so naturally, the box was thrown away. Years later, I decided I wanted to make the puzzles again, so I took them apart but had no box to put them back in. What’s the solution?
This idea is similar to my Tea Organizing post and involves zipper bags:
First, prepare the labels – I printed the pictures of the puzzles on self-adhesive paper and wrote the number of pieces and dimensions of the puzzle next to them. This was done before the puzzle was taken apart. I cut the labels and stuck them to the zipper bags.
Next, just put all the puzzle pieces into each bag and zip up. Simple and organized. It also takes up less space and is easier to store than the boxes would have been, so while the boxes look better, this might be a better option if you have space constraints or the boxes are of different sizes and don’t stack too well.
