Ninja Turtles Christmas Ornaments

When J was 4, he loved ninja turtles. So the first ever handmade Christmas ornaments that we made were these little guys. They are super easy and he was able to help. The hardest part was actually taking off the thing that was attached to the ornaments before. I couldn’t find a simple one in the right color of green, so I had to get one with a different design that I had to take off.

I also tried different types of ribbons for the different colors, so there was a bit of variety.

You need round green ornaments, ribbons (red, orange, purple, and blue), tan felt, googly eyes, and a glue gun.

The first step is to wrap the ribbon around the ornament and glue the back.

Second, cut the felt into ovals and glue on the back of the ornament (when the ribbon was glued) – this will be the shell of the ninja turtle.

Next, glue the googly eyes onto the ribbon on front of the ornament.

And repeat for each color. Don’t they look adorable? They were my son’s favorite when he was little.
